This Community Health Assessment was a cross-sectional health census of one of the coffee-farming cooperative communities involved in TFH’s program. It was conducted in 2008 by TFH co-founder Kris Coontz in collaboration with researchers at the University of Hawai’i on behalf of Engineers Without Borders at the University of Hawai’i. Jacob Tyler, Mimi Sroat, and Tyler Salvo made important contributions to study design, implementation and data management.
